Where does film data come from?
Film metadata, cast, crew, and artwork come from The Movie Database (TMDB). This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
Can I import my lists from IMDb or Letterboxd?
Yes. Just export a CSV from IMDb or Letterboxd and import it into Simple Film Search. Watchlists, ratings, and diary exports are all supported.
Does it work offline?
Your Saved and Watched lists are always available. Search and trailers need an internet connection, but previously loaded film details and images are cached.
Privacy
No account needed. Your data stays on your device, with optional iCloud sync. You can export or import your lists as CSV any time.
